The Nolensville Knights topped the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 3-2, in M3L Triple A action at Nolensville Park. The player of the game was Nolensville pitcher Greg Poe. Poe picked up the win for Nolensville, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 3-4. Davis Sawyer sewed up the save, his 2nd.
Brian Harmon drove in one run for Nolensville. The 28-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jesús Crisotomo. It was his 21st RBI of the season.
"I still have a lot of confidence in this team," Nolensville manager Jack Clayton said afterward.
The Knights raised their record to 21-31.
