Red Pandas Defeat Knights, 7-3
|
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas defeated the Nolensville Knights, 7-3, in M3L Triple A action at Nolensville Park, with Sioux Falls pitcher Salvador Sagastizabal named player of the game. The Red Pandas, at 22-19, have now won 4 straight.
Sioux Falls used the timely hitting of Blythe Plumpley to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Red Pandas on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Sagastizabal.
