Buzz Rally For Late Win Over Knights
|
Salt Lake City got a first-rate effort from pitcher Broderick Evans, who frustrated Nolensville hitters en route to a 3-1 Buzz triumph at Nolensville Park. The current losing streak for Nolensville has reached 4 games.
Salt Lake City used the timely hitting of Oscar Henson to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Buzz on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I like what I saw today," said Salt Lake City manager Greg Keys, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
