Red Pandas Walk Off with Win

Nolensville got a terrific performance from pitcher Greg Poe, but it wasn't enough to beat the Sioux Falls Red Pandas. Sioux Falls won the The Bamboo Forest contest, 4-3. Poe was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 8 innings of shutout ball. Sioux Falls improves to 10-8 as they look to defend their championship.
The Red Pandas were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when pinch hitter Alex Avery turned a 1-2 fastball from Frank Butler into a grand slam home run. The walk-off home run sent a roar through the crowd and gave Sioux Falls a thrilling 4-3 win.
"I like our moxie," said Red Pandas manager Steve Ward.
