Knights Hang 7-6 Loss on Buzz
|
The Nolensville Knights eked out a 7-6 win versus the Salt Lake City Buzz at Spirits Stadium. Nobody did more than first baseman Julian Lemur, who captured player of the game honors. Nolensville reliever Tim Wallace picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-0. Javier Soto was collared with the loss. The loss drops Salt Lake City to 2-4.
Lemur came through with some timely hitting for Nolensville. With the score 2-0 in the top of the third and one down, Lemur hit a 1-2 fastball for a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season made it 5-0, Nolensville.
"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Lemur, "but we got it done."
