Reserves Hope Win Turns Around Slow Start
Athletic Club KC played host to Port Huron at the friendly confines of KC Reserve Stadium.

The Athletic Club KC Reserves got a stellar performance from pitcher Martin Porter, who handcuffed the Port Huron offense en route to a 6-1 win at KC Reserve Stadium. Athletic Club KC is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 2nd in 6 games.

Athletic Club KC right fielder Ross Evans went deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 2-run home run off Port Huron pitcher Mike Bennett put the Reserves in front, 2-0. It was his 3rd home run of the season.

"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Evans told the Athletic Club KC Times.
