Guldenmond Slugs Dogfish Head to 19-3 Win
The Milton Dogfish Head defeated the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 19-3, at Milton Corner Tavern. Milton first baseman Virgil Guldenmond was named player of the game for his superb performance. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 5. Alex Edgar recorded his 1st save for Milton. The Dogfish Head, now 2-0, have been playing some good baseball.

Guldenmond put Milton up, 13-0, when he hit a grand slam home run off Jessie Young in the bottom of the fifth. His 3rd home run of the season helped the Dogfish Head capture the win.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Guldenmond.
