Stingers Win in Extras
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Snow Wang, the Toledo Stingers defeated the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 9-6. Wang was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Stingers. Toledo reliever Yoriyoshi Sugimoto picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Cliff Claven shouldered the loss. Adam Durango finished to wrap up his 2nd save.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Wang delivered big-time for Toledo, stroking a dramatic 3-run home run off Cliff Claven. The game-changing hit put the Stingers on top, 9-6.

"We take it day by day here," said Wang, "and today was a good one for us."

Toledo has now reeled off 13 straight wins.
