|
Baltimore starter Jason Poulter pitched effectively against the Ft. Worth Cattlemen at Baltimore Grounds. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. The winner was Mark Robinson in relief. His record improves to 1-0. José Ruíz took the loss. Baltimore's record now stands at 10-13, placing them 7th in the Premier League.
Tetsu Matsumoto tagged a home run off WyDale Curry in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run blast put the Bullets on top, 4-2. In all, Matsumoto had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Poulter.
