Franklin Shuts Out Uruguayans, Eckert Winner Tuesday, September 2nd, 2042 The Germantown Uruguayans met their match today in Franklin hurler Jeffrey Eckert. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 4-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Germantown skipper Keith Walters said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 6-0 victory, Eckert whiffed 6 and gave up no walks.
