Taylor Sizzles -- Smokes Trash Pandas for 5 Hits Tuesday, August 12th, 2042 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. David Taylor is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Watford City Trash Pandas at Trash Panda Field today. The monster effort from the 21-year-old center fielder helped the Bompton Baby Lakers take the win, 14-9. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Trash Pandas manager Terry Sylvester. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." David Taylor singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Urs Holster in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
