Eckert Puts Spell on Greenport Monday, July 28th, 2042 The Franklin Fire rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Greenport Harbor Whales at Ballpark of Robbins today. Leading the way to victory was starter Jeffrey Eckert, who shackled the Greenport Harbor Whales and held them scoreless on a 6-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Eckert said in his postgame press conference. To date this season Eckert has compiled a 7-3 record with a 2.22 ERA in 12 starts.
