James 5-for-6 Against Bompton Saturday, July 19th, 2042 The Shady Side Zoomies stopped the Bompton Baby Lakers by a score of 17-6 at Terriers Ballpark today, with the lion's share of the credit going to center fielder Stan James. The 20-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," James said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." James did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Baby Lakers. "Not much that I can say," offered Bompton manager Pat Carrasco. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Stan James grounded out in the 1st, hit a three-run double in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
