Hernández Awarded August's SR Top Bat Prize Monday, September 1st, 2042 Tony Hernández put together a good August to earn the USSL Rookie Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Amarillo officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Warheads right fielder posted a .435 batting average with 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and 12 runs scored. Thus far this year Hernández has hit .363 with 3 home runs and 23 RBIs. |
