Hits Galore: Marcus Drills 5 Hits Sunday, June 22nd, 2042 Mike Marcus was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at The Stage in Memphis, the Hudsonville second baseman blistered the Memphis Music for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a 7-2 victory. "Marcus was too tough to get out today," Music skipper Jim Thornton said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Mike Marcus singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Dawson Nichols in the 9th.
