5-for-7 Day for Kil Thursday, May 1st, 2042 At Thunder Hawks Ballpark today, Gyoo-jae Kil of the Olympia Ogres put on a hitting clinic. He banged out 5 hits in 7 at-bats and mauled the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks pitching staff, but Olympia still came up short on the scoreboard. The Ogres went home with the 16-14 loss, in spite of a standout 5-hit performance from their right fielder. "Hey, it's great to get that many hits in a game, but it would have been nice to win the game, too," Kil said in the postgame interview. Gyoo-jae Kil singled in the 1st, tripled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a sac fly in the 6th, flied out in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
