Best Hurler Award Presented by PAA Friday, October 10th, 2042 A sparkling 10-1 mark for the year just about says it all -- that's what Phil Day of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles put up this season. That's why the USPL Double A rated him the #1 hurler in the league and named him the 2042 Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. He held opposing clubs to a .223 batting average and compiled a 3.11 ERA. Day stood out with 129 strikeouts while giving up 105 hits and 25 walks in 124.1 innings. He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 10.
