Thunder Hawks Ito Lost for Year Thursday, September 18th, 2042 A blow for Masaki Ito today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 10-11 months with a stretched elbow ligament. Ito suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Ito's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this season, in 22 relief appearances Ito has compiled an ERA of 2.57. He has pitched 91 innings, struck out 118, walked 51 and registered 5 saves. |
