PAA Names Mariachis Montés Winner Monday, September 15th, 2042 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Double A, but last week Jaime Montés of the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Montés rocked opposing pitching for a .750 average (6-for-8), no home runs and 2 RBIs to come away with the award. Montés is hitting at a .305 mark this season. His stats show 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has played 38 games for the Mariachis. |
