Asbel Kiprop Injured, Out for Year Thursday, September 4th, 2042 The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles were dealt a blow today when center fielder Asbel Kiprop left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Kiprop has suffered a broken kneecap and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. This year Kiprop is hitting .292 with 5 home runs and 18 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .360 clip and scored 24 runs. |
