Garland Week's Best Player Monday, July 14th, 2042 It was announced today that Ithaca second baseman Everett Garland had received the USPL Double A Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .529 BA (9-for-17), 2 home runs and 5 RBIs. For the year Garland is hitting .288 with 6 home runs. His stats include 19 runs batted in and 31 runs scored. |
