SAA Announces Outstanding Player Award Friday, October 10th, 2042 Juan Oleastro of the Virginia Beach Whales had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2042. The 24-year-old right fielder put up a .365 average and a .422 on-base percentage, piling up 141 hits, 25 doubles, no triples, 16 home runs, 82 RBIs and 70 runs scored. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Izaak Gerkis of the Casper Ghosts finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Paul Pitts of the Virginia Beach Whales finished third.
