SAA Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award Monday, October 6th, 2042 Fernando Mora was a calming influence out of the Atlantic City Sonics bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 23-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the USSL Double A Reliever of the Year Award for 2042. The La Vega, Dominican Republic native won the award with 27 saves in 40 relief appearances, 52 strikeouts in 49.1 innings and a record of 5-4 to go with his 2.19 ERA. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Darrell Bannatyne of the Casper Ghosts finished second in voting, while Jim Harris of the Toledo Saboteurs finished third.
