SAA Honors August's #1 Pitcher Monday, September 1st, 2042 Over the past month Josuke Okumura has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the USSL Double A. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Lancaster Farmers posted 4-1 mark and a 2.50 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 39.2 innings, permitted 26 hits and fanned 38 batters. So far this season Okumura has a record of 11-7 with 133 strikeouts and 37 walks in 140 innings and a 3.47 ERA. |
