MacKinder Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Monday, August 11th, 2042 The Virginia Beach Whales stopped the Tacoma Fur Traders today 16-10 and Daniel MacKinder collected a base hit yet again. The Virginia Beach center fielder finished with 3 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited MacKinder told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games."
