Viana Week's Top Player Monday, August 12th, 2041 So far in his young career, Ezequiel Viana has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Tacoma Fur Traders left fielder hit at a torrid .750 clip as he collected 9 hits in 12 at-bats, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Viana has collected a .220 batting average to date with 20 hits in 91 at-bats, 15 RBIs, 5 home runs and scored 12 times. He has played in 32 games. |
