Saboteurs End Fewings's Streak Thursday, July 17th, 2042 The 20-game hitting streak of Caspar Fewings has come to an end. The St. Petersburg Thunder center fielder went 0-for-1 today in his team's 4-2 loss to the Toledo Saboteurs at Rapiers Ballpark. "It's not just Caspar who came up short today," Thunder manager Emílio Sáenz said in his postgame press conference. "This was a team loss." This year Fewings is hitting .335, produced 35 RBIs and 5 home runs, scored 31 times and gotten on base at a .392 rate. |
