Week's Best Player: Minnesota's Ritaquevedo Monday, July 7th, 2042 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Double A, but last week Juan Ritaquevedo of the Minnesota Loons reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Ritaquevedo rocked opposing pitching for a .474 average (9-for-19), 2 home runs and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. On the year Ritaquevedo is hitting .314 with 48 hits, 7 home runs, 21 RBIs, .367 OBP and has scored 25 runs. |
