3AA Best Mound Performer Named Thursday, October 9th, 2042 When Lake Minnetonka reliever Willie Steele strolled in from the bullpen in 2042, it did not bode well for opposing teams. He usually put a quick end to any budding rallies. For his excellent mound work he was presented the M3L Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award today. The Love Boats ace appeared in 48 games and saved 29 of them. He had a record of 4-2 with a 1.43 ERA. Steele had 70 strikeouts in 56.2 innings and limited opposing hitters to a .149 batting average. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 12. Muoi Hoan of the Richland Rails finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Alfredo Romo of the Marquette Miners finished third with 2 first place votes.
