Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Steele Monday, October 6th, 2042 At the age of 22, Willie Steele says he still has a lot to learn about life in M3L Double A. But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2042 M3L Double A Reliever of the Year Award. "I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Denver, Colorado native said. For the season, Steele had 29 saves in 48 relief appearances, which totaled 56.2. He fanned 70 betters, while walking 17 and put up a record of 4-2 to go with his 1.43 ERA. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Carlos Ortega of the Athletic Club KC Academy finished second in voting, while Thomas Hancock of the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats finished third.
