M3L Double A Picks Top Performer Monday, September 15th, 2042 So far in his young career, Derrek Guthrie has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Minnesota Loons center fielder hit at a torrid .700 clip as he collected 7 hits in 10 at-bats, 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. For the year Guthrie has hit at a .297 clip with 17 RBIs, 1 home run and 12 runs scored. |
