Guthrie Sensational, 5-for-5 Saturday, September 13th, 2042 Minnesota center fielder Derrek Guthrie had a big day at KC Academy Field today against the Athletic Club KC Academy. The 20-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Loons to a 15-3 triumph over Athletic Club KC Academy. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Guthrie said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Derrek Guthrie singled in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Gabel Ambrosius in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and tripled in the 9th.
