Miners, Drabek Blank Athletic Club KC Academy Wednesday, September 3rd, 2042 Cecil Drabek subdued the Athletic Club KC Academy, 7-0, pitching a 6-hit gem for the Marquette Miners at KC Academy Field. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Marquette skipper Christos Galpin said afterward. Drabek registered 7 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in his superb performance. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Athletic Club KC Academy manager Gustavo Varela after the defeat.
