Billings's Atepko to Miss Season Monday, September 1st, 2042 A blow for Vas Atepko today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 11 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Atepko suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Billings Polar Bears are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Atepko's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this season, Atepko has a 1-3 won-lost record with 7 saves.
