Miners Knight 3AA Hitter of the Week Monday, August 11th, 2042 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Double A, but last week Bill Knight of the Marquette Miners reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Knight rocked opposing pitching for a .667 average (8-for-12), 1 home run and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. During the current season Knight is batting at a .286 clip with 12 home runs and 49 RBIs. He has played in 72 games and scored 50 times. |
