Bethesda Loses Villegas for Year
Friday, July 18th, 2042
Raśl Villegas will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Bethesda starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Villegas was injured while throwing a pitch in the Atoms-Highlanders clash at Asheville Park recently. Doctors said he has a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 11 months.

Villegas has a 1-2 season record so far. In 9 starts, he has fanned 35 batters in 51 innings with a 4.41 ERA.
