SAAA Announces #1 Player Award
Friday, October 10th, 2042
At the age of 25, Walke Mehoff of the Florida Men could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2042 was good enough to win the right fielder the USSL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .352 batting average this year, as well as a .390 on-base percentage. He played 96 games and racked up 140 hits, 20 doubles, 1 triple, 38 home runs, 95 RBIs and 72 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Mulia Muljana of the Hialeah Dodos finished second in voting, while Joël Pesci of the Memphis Redbirds finished third.
