Monday, September 1st, 2042
The season is finished for Nazeem bin Akram of the Hamilton Coyotes. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Coyotes starting pitcher suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Vermont Lake Monsters. Team doctors said it would take at least 10-11 months to heal.

His record this year is 2-17 in 23 starts and bin Akram has a 9.70 ERA.
