Vermont Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Sunday, August 31st, 2042 The Vermont Lake Monsters will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2042 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Vermont was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 4th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2038. In the last 10 seasons, the Lake Monsters have missed the playoffs 8 times. In total, the Lake Monsters have missed the playoffs 23 times in their 27-year history. Vermont last won the SL AAA Championship in 2038. |
