SAAA Player of the Week Named Monday, July 14th, 2042 So far in his young career, Lonnie Doble has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Tortolita Drummers shortstop hit at a torrid .545 clip as he collected 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far on the season Doble is hitting .451 with 4 home runs, 16 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 23 hits and played in 15 games. |
