Drummers Romano Out Rest Of Season
Friday, July 11th, 2042
Armando Romano of the Drummers just might have to call it quits for the season. The 34-year-old Tortolita reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Hamilton Coyotes recently at Drummers Ballpark. Romano suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch. The Drummers medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4-5 months.

To this point in the season, Romano has put up these figures: 1-0 record, 11 relief appearances with 30.2 innings, 1 save, 24 strikeouts, 5 walks and a 2.64 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .274 batting average.
