Yoshida and Arellano Fight, Get Suspended
Friday, August 1st, 2042
Ryoichi Yoshida of the Bakersfield Nobles and António Arellano of the Bloomington Longnecks will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Nobles-Longnecks game at Jerome Grounds.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Yoshida and Arellano will begin serving them soon.

This season Yoshida has hit at a .241 clip with 13 RBIs, 1 home runs and 10 runs scored. He has played in 25 games.

To date this season Arellano sports a 4-4 mark with a 6.00 ERA in 13 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .286 batting average and has 47 strikeouts in 57 innings.
