Fighting Dachsunds Quick Out Rest Of Season Tuesday, June 24th, 2042 Ellenburg center fielder Wyatt Quick could miss the remainder of the season because of a concussion. He exited yesterday's Austin game after injuring himself while making a defensive play. The original diagnosis said Quick would be out 4 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." For the season, Quick is hitting at a .297 clip with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs and has scored 27 runs. He has 49 hits, 26 walks and a .400 on-base percentage. |
