Nuyten Pounds 3AAA Pitchers This Week Monday, June 23rd, 2042 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Triple A, but last week Vinnie Nuyten of the Salt Lake City Buzz reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Nuyten rocked opposing pitching for a .481 average (13-for-27), 3 home runs and 13 RBIs to come away with the award. Nuyten on the season is batting .325 with 7 home runs. His totals include 24 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has played in 27 games. |
