Saturday, July 12th, 2042
Forest Stanley of the Nashville Outlaws was cool and collected on the mound, leading his club to a shutout victory over the Las Vegas Flamingos, 5-0.
"He was mixing his pitches real well and keeping his composure on the mound," Nashville manager Ryan Naylor said later. "When Forest does that, good things happen."
The right-hander had 5 strikeouts, no walks and allowed 3 hits in the win.
So far this year Stanley has made 12 starts, tossed 63.1 innings, struck out 55 batters and walked 20. His record is 4-3 with a 5.26 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .302 batting average.
