Breugelmans Bashes 5 Base Hits Friday, May 30th, 2042 No matter what the Chicago Tula threw at him today, Niek Breugelmans hit it. He easily handled Tula pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Blaze to a 7-6 triumph at Ramblers Ballpark. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Breugelmans's quip, Tula skipper Mike Evans said he "would take him up on that next time." Niek Breugelmans singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
