Halfyard and Sewell Brawl, League Suspends Them Friday, September 5th, 2042 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's South Beach-Eugene contest at The Ballpark on the Beach. The Blaze Duane Halfyard and the Vandals Jake Sewell will have to sit out 4 and 8 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Looking at his present stats, Halfyard has compiled a .163 batting average in 15 games with a .281 on-base percentage, while hitting no home runs and driving in 6 runs. To this point in the season Sewell has no saves in 28 relief appearances with a 1-2 record and 2.54 ERA. |
