Myrtle Beach Loses Xavier Botín, Will Miss Season Tuesday, August 12th, 2042 The season is finished for Xavier Botín of the Myrtle Beach Seahawks. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Seahawks catcher suffered a torn calf muscle while running the bases in a recent game against the Cut Off Crawdads. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. This year Botín has hit 11 home runs and posted a .248 batting average. |
