Wells Sizzles -- Smokes Arryns for 5 Hits Tuesday, July 29th, 2042 It was high-fives all around for Sam Wells at Arryns Ballpark today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Lake Erie Arryns. Wells smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 7-5 win. "Sam was hitting everything," said Crawdads manager Pancho Salaedo. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Arryns manager Wilber Moon told BNN beat writers that Wells "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Wells oversleeps next time." Sam Wells singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run triple in the 5th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th and hit an RBI double in the 11th.
