Jack Fisher Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Thursday, July 10th, 2042 Jack Fisher of the Chiefs just might have to call it quits for the season. The 23-year-old Caldwell reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Chicago Tula recently at Ramblers Ballpark. Fisher suffered a torn meniscus while throwing a pitch. The Chiefs medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4-5 months. For the year Fisher has collected 1 save in 15 relief appearances. He has also notched 23 strikeouts and 7 walks in 23.1 innings while registering a 4.24 ERA and a 1-2 won-lost record. |
